Etienne Charles, award-winning musician and cultural researcher, presents a Music Masterclass at the Department of Creative and Festival Arts (DCFA), The UWI, on Wednesday March 31, 2024.

This masterclass, the first of the DCFA Carnival related offerings, is presented by Monlo Music Ltd Educational Outreach and supported by Republic Bank Limited. Maestro Charles is always eager to work with youth to assist in the quality of their musicmaking and, besides demonstrations, will work with two music ensembles.

He currently serves as Associate Professor of Studio Music and Jazz at the University of Miami, Patricia L. Frost School of Music.
