🔹 The Adventure:
Located on Mount Tamana, the tallest hill in the Central Range, the Tamana Cave is home to an astonishing 3 million bats across 11 species, making it the second largest bat colony in the world! This extensive cave system, features 18 chambers, including the mysterious New Deep and Far Deep.

🔹 The Experience:
We’ll kick off our journey, hiking to the summit of Mount Tamana. As dusk falls, we’ll descend to the cave entrance to witness the awe-inspiring exodus of millions of bats heading out into the night – a phenomenon that will leave you spellbound.

🔹 Dress the Part:
Embrace the spirit of Gotham by dressing up as your favourite Batman character! Whether you’re donning the cape and cowl of the Dark Knight himself, channeling your inner Catwoman, or embodying the enigmatic Riddler, your costume will add to the enchantment of this unforgettable night.

Assembly Place & Time: Mt. Hope at 1:00 PM
Cost:
Tier 1: $100 per person (groups of 2 or more persons, driving along)
Tier 2: $200 per person, transportation included with the CASA BUS!
Tier 3: $250 per person with transportation, dirt oven pizza & hot cocoa from the Tamana Mountain Chocolate Estate & Museum, local fruit wines, water and non alcoholic drinks.

What to Bring: Proper flashlight, hat, change of clothes, at least 2L of water, snacks, insect repellant, long pants/tights, comfortable footwear, and any necessary medication.

This hike is rated 3.5 (fair to moderately challenging) and is not suitable for children under 4 yrs or individuals with existing joint/muscle/back injuries. Our team is equipped with 2 way communication radios, rope, first aid kits, and trained leaders to ensure your safety throughout the adventure.
