This is one of the most beautiful and adventurous hikes in Trinidad. On Sunday 30th June, join the Hikers United Crew as we head to the beautiful Covigne Gorges in Chaguaramas 😊

The hike through the gorges typically takes about 1 hr and is quite the adventure along the Cuesa River. The route is extremely scenic hikes as the bamboo provides arches which perfectly frame the trail at some points, in addition, the tall trees provide a perfect canopy and shelter from the hot sun or rain. You will be walking primarily along the riverbed so your shoes will get wet. Additionally, we will be passing through the gorges and you will need to scale a rock using some rope (don’t worry, we will be there to help you every step of the way). 🌿💦
