The NESC Technical Institute Virtual 5K Run/Walk

Following the recent postponement of the physical event due to weather conditions, we are pleased to confirm that the event will now continue as a Virtual 5K Challenge.

Participants are invited to complete their 5K walk or run between 1^st – 30^th June 2026, at a time and location convenient to them.

Participation instructions:

• Complete your 5K during the challenge period: 1st – 30th June, 2026.
• Record your activity using a fitness tracking application such as Strava, Apple Fitness, Fitbit, Samsung Health, or any other app that records distance.
• Submit a screenshot as proof of completion here https://form.jotform.com/261446274792061 This form will open on June 1^st.  
• Proof of completion must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on 1st July 2026

All participants who successfully complete the challenge will receive their commemorative medal.

• Medal Collection
  Date: 1st – 10th July 2026
  Time: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Monday  – Friday only)
  Location: NESC Technical Institute, 2-4 Rivulet Road, Point Lisas, Couva.

Please note: Participants will be required to present a valid photo ID when collecting medals. Individuals collecting on behalf of another participant should present a copy/photo of the participant’s ID together with authorization from the participant.

Participants who successfully complete the challenge will also be entered into a draw for special giveaway hampers, with winners to be announced after the close of the challenge period.
