The U.W.I Department of Chemistry presents its second annual 5K Fun Run event on May 26th, 2024 at the St. Augustine Campus. In response to last year’s participants overwhelmingly positive feedback, our 5K Fun Run event is now planned for an early Sunday morning at 6:30 a.m. with lots of added new features. In addition to its wellness benefits for all participants, the event aims to raise funds towards the Department’s charitable causes. On race day there will be a warm up session starting at 6:15 am. Water will be provided along the route and at the finish line, and all finishers are guaranteed to receive a uniquely designed Chemistry themed medal.
